Qiushi Academy for Advanced Studies (QAAS) is a special research institute in Zhejiang University,It was founded in October 2006 through the generous support from Dr. Chiming Cha. The institute has taken its mission to serve as the center for interdisciplinary studies in the university with three research foci, namely, brain-machine interface, neuroscience and technology, and, biomaterials and biopathways.
Currently, the Academy has a vibrant research environment and state-of-the-art projects, with a growing number of academic staff .
